Most ‘initiates’ fail to reach the mainstream markets. Businesses, and new divisions of mature companies, routinely mistake early traction for long term sustainability; and consequently, fail to prepare for the most critical phases of their business development.
A VEEP “Strategic Insight Workshop” is a two-three day strategic meeting of the minds to crack the code on a company’s breakthrough growth potential. In addition, the Strategic Insight Workshop seeks to prioritize the make-or-break issues that will be key to achieving that breakthrough.
In this stage we’ll whip the business model into shape! We’ll thoroughly examine the current business model, then adjust and refine it to represent the new finding uncovered during and post the Strategic Insight Workshop. Ultimately, we will develop the plans, programs and logistics necessary to achieve the breakthrough.
Fieldwork is organic execution of the new breakthrough value proposition, in the field, in front of live customers. Fieldwork is one of the most critical components of the breakthrough process. Specifically, fieldwork is the iterative process of polishing and refining the value proposition and programs until they work.
Once we’ve transformed the value proposition from “nice-to-have” to “need-to-have”, it’s time to execute! VEEP will modify/build the plans, programs and logistics around the winning formula, and then work closely with its partner until the ball gets rolling in the mainstream markets.
